Dunno, but country music has indeed gone a little downhill as of late. People have been crossing it with other genres, and it hasn't been that popular with most longtime fans. I grew up on it myself, and I don't care much for putting Pop in my Country. Not a fan of all the old songs, but at least they weren't written by city-slickers looking to cash in. =P Even the worst of old country was usually much more honest and true to the rural spirit. Because it was made by actual country boys and women. I'd like to know how many coal miners' daughters are singing in the genre today. Might be able to count them on one hand.

Until things sort themselves out, I think I'll stick to the country station that plays both old and new, the one that the local farmers might listen to. The others can go jump in a lake. After they remove the ice, of course. =P
