I was never a big fan of the beach. Sure it's pretty but the sand just gets everywhere...but I still joined with some friends to go for a swim over the summer.

I dove into the water trying to enjoy myself when I spotted something glint just under the sand. I found my curiosity getting the better of me as I dove down to try and dig it out. However I only got some it uncovered when I felt a sharp pain in my finger as I seemed to have cut myself on the object. I started to swim to the surface when I realized the object appeared to be a trident....

As I swam I found myself getting light headed and my skin felt clamy. I struggled to swim as my legs felt like they were going numb. I kicked harder and used my arms to finally emerge from the water and climb up onto the sandy beach. No one was around to hear my pained groans. It felt like someone was gripping my legs and pushing them together. I manged to get out of the surf only to look at my hands and legs in horror.

The hand that I had pricked on the trident was covered in green scales while a yellowish webbing was forming between each finger. My finger nails were long gone and replaced with wicked claws. I let out a deep groan as my face started to ache while I watched my legs and feet merge together into one scaly appendage. Webbing and spikes started to form on my back while my shorts ripped apart as I no longer had legs.

I gasped and hissed as my face pushed outwards in reptilian muzzle filled with razor sharp teeth. My nostrils flared as I breathed in the salty air though I knew I needed to return to the water. My neck burned as gills formed along with my back sails and spikes.

I found myself clawing my way into the water while my lower half propelled me like a serpent. My hair finally fully falling out while my eyes turned orange and yellow.

Once in the water I swam to where my Trident was and pried it out from the sandy bottom. I let out a hiss with bubbles before I turned to the open sea. I could hear her calling me. My human mind fading as I needed to answer her call.

I was her new warrior...I needed to report to my Queen....
