I knew there would be consequences of my actions and my choices.

I had to do what I did to secure my existence while the world around me boiled with war between mortals and dragons.

I had found the mysterious figure while searching for magical power and artifacts. He kept mostly to the shadows which was the first sign that this was not going to be to wise. But he offered great power and a new life. All I had to do was give him my soul.

I hesitated at first but the roars of dragons echoed in my ears from a far. I could tell they were on the move. The figure just standing in the shadows though I could tell it was smiling.

I agreed...I could feel a searing pain go throughout my chest before it was replaced by pure warmth. My human body was now nothing but a shell that needed to be discarded. I could feel muscles and sinew growing and expanding while my clothing started to tear. Black claws erupted from my finger tips which were turning into paws. White and orange fur quickly covering my mutating hands. I held my one hand up feeling the magical energy surging within my form.

A smirk formed on my darkening lips as my face pushed outwards forming into a feline muzzle. Pain erupted from my skull as two wicked horns grew outwards and jutted forwards. I could feel my feet burst from my boots as they two became large heavy foot-paws of a feline beast. A tail erupted from my backside swishing back and forth as orange and black striped fur grew over it before tipping in white.

I could feel the burning sensation course throughout my body before i let out a triumphant roar that echoed through out the forest. The shadowy figure laughing and clapping its hands.

"Your fate has been Rewoven....go...harvest souls for your new master! You are now a Rakshasa! Use your powers to collect for the Master!"

I could only feel myself smile and chuckle deeply. I would obey...for now...collect the souls and enjoy doing it. My humanity was stripped from me but in its place a new existence.
