Well, I felt inspired to work on another pencil piece and I wanted to revisit a pair of characters from a commission that I took during the holidays that I just wasn't satisfied with. These are 's characters, Mako and Lokelani. I worked on a pencil sketch of these two young lovers over the holidays and did my best, yet something about the picture I did seemed off to me, but I couldn't figure it out and I couldn't fix it. That left me a little unsettled. But, working with pencils inspired me to work a bit more and I wanted to give the couple one more shot. So, this gift art is for you, Alex. ^_^

The two love bugs are enjoying a quiet dip in a cool bath. Being nudists, I guess every time they enter any body of water could be considered bathing in some way. ...but, really, it just boils down to me loving water themes! ^_^

The time and effort that goes into a piece like this is quite a bit more than what goes into a pencil sketch. To prove a point, the date that I started this one is in the piece. I am only just finishing it up, today. ^^; At the moment, I am not offering pencil illustrations, because they are a bit exhaustive to work on. I may offer them in the future, though. I enjoy working with the medium, though, so there will be more pencil art from me, soon.
