Wags has a lot to marinate over.
He and his buddy Doug tried out for the FBA* draft on a lark. They both made the list, and were invited to Draft Night. Incredibly, both guys got picked. By the 2 best teams in the league. Doug was chosen by the Stanislaus (Ca.) Thrust, and Wags by the Huntsville (Ala.) Mayors.
And in Wags' case, the Mayors only just happened to have negotiated a trade with the Montana Howlers which resulted in the signing of legendary coyote power forward Charles Yotechuk, whom Wags had been following closely for, well, it seemed like forever. He idolized him, in fact.
Which means he's been signed to the very same team as his role model.
Both are home for a few days before heading out to their respective teams.
Apparently, Wags feels the need to sum things up.
This piece was unusual in that I penciled, inked, colored, and photoshooped the entire piece, which is only about 8X10, all in one night.

Great pic, C-Cat! This one took a while to read what was going on. There's something awesomely ambiguous about it. Somehow, I think that ambiguity works really well since it hints at Wags' confusion and uncertainty over the future. The blank look in his eyes is very telling too-- the 'yote doesn't know what to expect. All he knows is that things are going to be very, very different very, very soon.
