Lei'ah is my sleepy, narcoleptic lioness that is usually either at home, on the beach, on her surfboard or at the beachside food stand....sleeping. She's awake for small bursts of time (though she never looks particularly awake) and is helped by friends to deal with her condition.

Personality:: Lei'ah is narcoleptic and has been for as long as she can remember. At first, it was just convenient that she was able to fall asleep essentially whenever and wherever she wanted but over time, it grew into something more than that. She is tired all the time, can sleep for 23 hours of the day if no one was there to wake her up, and she just falls asleep sometimes without meaning to especially when on her surfboard. Lei'ah loves to be on the ocean, chilling out on her surfboard but she needs to make sure someone is with her or watching her due to her more often than not falling asleep on her surfboard and running the risk of floating out to sea. Lei'ah is extremely chill (as expected) to the point where it's impossible to scare her. This isn't because she has nerves of steel, but because she's just too exhausted and sleepy to pick up on why the situation was/is scary. The only time Lei'ah really "wakes up" is during sunset /dusk where she performs at a local surf bar. Due to her sleepy nature, she can perform the fluidity of movements in such a radiant nature, it's almost mesmerizing. Lei'ah performs Hula Ili-Ili and Hula pahu most, although she prefers Hula Ili-Ili more (traditional hula performed with river rocks). She will also sing for herself more often than not as she performs.

friendships:: Lei'ah's best friend is Patronum. Their similar chilled otu natures and love for the ocean allows them to be able to bond on a lot of levels. Lei'ah also performs at Patronum's favorite surf bar and needless to say, that's where they met. Patronum loves Lei'ah but because of her dazed nature, Lei'ah has no idea. Patronum is always there for Lei'ah and because of his work as a Lifeguard, he is able to watch over her when she falls asleep on her surfboard, having only once in the past needing to save her from drifting out to sea. Since then, he buitl her her own little "corral" using a rock barrier to cut the current significantly so she has her own little drifting area. Lei'ah is also good friends with Milianna. When she's awake, Lei'ah and Milianna love to sing together and go out for small lunches, dinners or breakfasts depending on what time Lei'ah is awake (rarely is she awake in the morning as it's too bright for her). Milianna also having the kind of nurturing personality she does, commonly comes into Lei'ahs little pad to wake her up for her job, or just to make sure she doesn't sleep all day and actually gets food. Lei'ah runs the real danger of starving herself due to just not waking up should nothing or noone wake her so Milianna, out of her own time, makes sure around sunset to visit Lei'ah to make sure she wakes up and gets food. Because of Lei'ah's way of not ever really being out and always sleeping, she doesn't have any more close friends, but she does have other acquaintances being Alex and by extention, Scout. These two are commonly either With patronum or chilling in the surf bar she works at so she sees them every now and then to socialize briefly.
