Yup yet another in my long line of alien species. Nos here is a member of a species on his homeworld called the Quell. Their kind as you can see are mammalian and quite humanoid. They're nocturnal by nature and possess very good senses superior to that of a human. They have Phenomenal night vision. They also have very robust immune systems. One top of that Quell have a gift for learning languages quickly. All this said however means little on the Quell's homeworld. They're a subservient species to the dominant reptilian race called the Rekel. Quell in most Rekel nations are either a Servant/Labor cast or out and out slaves. They were not looked upon well by the Rekel. They were not very happy. Because the Rekel are Diurnal the Quell had to live as such too which put them at a disadvantage usually. Quell don't see very well in the bright light of the day. It's like flashing a flash light in their face. Everything is in a white haze. Also not to mention the heat and the fact their skin isn't designed for it. However in recent times views towards the Quell have shifted. A plague struck the Rekel and the Quell were immune. They were used to care for ill Rekel and as research subjects and in a few instances lab assistants to develop a cure for the plague. After one was found many Rekel had new views of the Quell which so dutifully cared for them and to whom they owed in a very real way the cure for the plague.

Nos here is a Quell who "worked" for a Rekel that owned a plantation growing "Luxury" crops. Essentially plants that had some sort of effect on the mind. His master did not treat him well. He acquired him when he was but a baby and he was never toilet trained. After a number of beatings he was actually physically incontinent too. He wore cloth diapers while living with this master as he wasn't about to spend much money on a Quell. However once the plague hit Nos was conscripted from his master to be an attendant in a hospital to ill Rekel. While their he wore disposables for the first time which were more sanitary and convenient to deal with in this setting. While there he cared for the son of a political....well moderate or liberal I guess would apply to this politician at least in his views of the Quell. The son's name was Sol. Nos and Sol became close as Nos cared for him and once Sol recovered Nos was invited to live with them as his previous master had not been lucky enough to survive the plague. We see him now on the ridge behind his new home looking out over things a bit sadly. Thinking of all those Rekel that suffered, and wondering about the fate of his own people even if it does seem rosey now.
