Man, I love being mock-arrogant over the intertube. But yeah, there are hundreds of people who will be suiting in Manchester, I've never heard of anyone having a bad experience. You'll be totally fine and you'll have to best suit, which makes it worth doing just for the feeling of being the Winner.

I'm pretty serious about it, just so you know. Not like a "if you can manage to keep me out of shots, that'd be quite nice", more like "if I'm recognisable, I'm going to be seriously pissed". So it's okay to film me if I'm wearing my suit's head, but not otherwise.

I'm not doubting your editing abilities or anything, just figured it's better to be clear about these things so there's no misunderstandings.

No, no, not at all - I'd rather people tell me in advance than come up to me afterwards and complain. Considering I managed to miss you entirely at the last meet I don't anticipate there being a problem... though as long as you come up to me, pounce me and be like ''Hi - I'M Murmur'' that way I know who y'are ^..^ (your conbadge will give me away, no doubt).

There's really not a lot to film inside a bar of people drinking anyway. The one thing about filming a live event is you never know where the focus/attention will be and who's gonna be there. The one reassurance I give you is that regardless of whatever ends up actually being filmed, up to 95% of it hits the cutting room floor through a rigorous editing process and so even if I did catch anyone who didn't want to be filmed because they were in the background or I didn't notice or whatever it's not like I upload uncut videos (hate those). My main idea is to get some locations shots inside the station, outside Crunch (maybe inside...maybe...have to see, never been) and then mostly just suiters doing their thing.

You've been making these? Didn't know you did that. Whenever I speak to builders about doing a dinosaur tail with such spikes/bumps they get scared and the price shoots sky high. But well done!

It was easy! All I did was cut triangles out of offcuts from the main pattern, then stuffed them with even more offcuts and sewed them onto the completed tail before stuffing it. So I guess if I were to charge money, it would only be extra because extra labour is involved. And it is - the osteoderms took me as long to make as the whole rest of the tail.

I think so, yeah. Tails are a lot of fun, you should get one! Better yet (and way cheaper!) make it yourself!

You should, that isn't really fair. I mean I know it's just a hobby for people but general business etiquette still ought to apply. I'd at least ask for an explanation and photos of any work in progress.
