My husband and I have been watching "Hogan's Heroes" on DVD, and have really been enjoying the writing. Oftentimes it's more of a spy thriller than a comedy.
I got to thinking--what would a furry version of the show be like? Hogan, of course, would be a fox...but what about the rest of them? When I decided the Germans would be guard dogs, I had to think of a reason why they'd be guarding a fox
and his pals--until it occurred to me that they weren't trying to keep the fox in, but to keep him and his buddies OUT of the barnyard. After that, the story just sort of wrote itself.
