Welp, my godmother emailed me these piccies she'd taken Halloween night at her house 'bout 3 days ago and I just forgot to upload them! I am fail. XD

I'm really pleased with the overall look of it. Admittedly, I didn't have a lot of high hopes for this project, it being my first, but ... I'm actually surprised that I surpassed my own expectations! X3 I definitely learned a LOT during the process of creating this costume ... things I liked ... things I'll never do again ... but all in all, can't say I really have any major regrets about taking this project on. The start of many more to come! ^.^

LOL, nah completely sober.
Unfortunately a few aspects of the head turned out kind of "off" and it didn't help that I had to keep constantly re-adjusting her jaw to keep it looking straight. But eh ... for a first costume, it could have turned out a LOT worse. I was expecting it to, in fact. XD

Interested! Applause for actually giving it a go-- I've yet to get the nerve to make my partial. Auuugh I'm too chicken of failing my own expectations. I'm way too "go big or don't go at all".
If you want a tip, I think using a Balaclava base instead of padding foam onto a dummy would be very beneficial. They work for making heads more closely-fit and comfortable, with less free space around your head (which will just cause more heat to get trapped!). They come as cheap as $8 as well, and do the work of labeling where the eyes go! It's a good base to secure your form to as well, if you're having trouble keeping areas like the jaw straight-on.
