This is Nova when she was a bit younger, about 14-15 ish. No Tattoos yet.
A the age of 20, Nova left her adopted home in Ireland and traveled all over the world for many years, spending time among many different cultures and learning about their customs. She topped it with a trip to her birthplace in Egypt where she received her tattoos.
Another thing is the striped clothes. Originally it was Nova's look, but after she met Tori, she passed all of her striped clothes over to her, giving Tori her signature red+grey stripes.

I used to wear very Victorian/gypsy stuff, you know sleevies and long skirts and little tailored jackets.....somewhere in our friendship-courtship-marriage Zealous picked that all up and I now wear steam-punk-adventure-gear favoring zipper vests and big knee high boots!

I believe I want to immediately say that I wholeheartedly enjoy the hair coloration. That...stands out to me as being absolutely pretty. It's...bordering on looking like gold..but not. (I purposely have the turn the resolution in order to catch specific colors, otherwise the computer displays it all as white.)
The hair coloration amazes me as it looks as it if were airbrushed in. I say this while looking at the light source of it. Going to the...right side of it, the tips of the hair seem darker than it does in the middle. I'm betting it was the paintbrush that did such a thing but still... it's rather amazing to me to see. The Same goes with the tail coloration. It does the same up to...about the mid tip of it (That brown portion.) Though in that spot...I can at least clearly tell when you used that paintbrush tool. It...makes for a rather nice idea.
Speaking of nice ideas...the arm bands and leggings are absolutely amazing. It's how you have the alternating colors was one thing...however, it's the way the colors are not only blended beautifully, but how you still have a CONSTANT light source on them. (I.e- The front of them) Cheshire cat-esque in that aspect, but I find the green to be better suited in this situation. (Purple wouldn't have had the same eye appealing effect.)
Now that I mention that word, Nova's eyes...I suppose in this particular picture..make the facial expression work. It's kind of giving me the idea that some type of Anne of Green Gables air is in this picture. And for making me think about any old book on Furaffinity of all places means this clearly is an amazing picture.
I simply must tell you... you did an absolutely amazing job on this~
