Well, it's a good thing to think of. The methods of construction determines what people use for decorations. Stacked stones (like New England stone walls); stone and mortor; mudbrick; and mudbrick, stone and plaster all lend to many good house shapes and decoration options.
I would picture tons of geometric patterns and cave like paintings all over the outsides of buildings. Then the inside, I picture murals and decorative weaved goods all over.
