Icy Tree in the Fog

This was the morning after those other fog pictures I have. The snow was all on the ground before... but apparently a lot of that fog condensed into ice overnight, covering everything. Was a beautiful morning.

Wow, the old picture masked the snow on the ground well, I wouldn't have guessed it had been winter. Although, I have always loved the scenery of winter and a snow/ice covered tree is about as good as it gets.

It was definitely winter. Late February actually. And it was COLD that night, too. When I was out taking the night fog pics, it was something like 4 degrees (F). The next day may have topped out around 15 degrees.

I like to make it a rule to avoid going outside as much as possible when it gets that cold.

Hehe. When I can be taking photos of stuff like this, my body seems to ignore temperatures. I think we were out there for like an hour and a half. It was lots of fun.
