One of the outcomes of last night's stream (and some editting/fixing this morning). Fluttershy seems fixated on this fascinating little invader to her sanctuary!

I think you will reach that point, eventually :)
The painterly style I use isn't really all that difficult to learn. I also find it makes focusing on form, value, and lighting much easier than the traditional method (sketch -> lines -> flats -> etc.), which leads to an overall better composition!
I intend to make some tutorials for this, and some art concepts crucial to that approach, in the near-ish future. Maybe you'll find them useful ;)
