i know your pain man, i personally drive a lowered 240 [and by lowered i mean 2 inches of ground clearance to the frame rails]

I got a 240sx too and it is lowered of 1.6 in front and 1.4 in the rear but as soon as I it a little bump the exhaust is touching the ground T_T

at least there's no rust on the floor/rail so it'll be easier to fix than on must 15 years old car here(somes have HUGE rust holes in frame rails T_T)

yeah i got lucky when i bought mine in WA state with no rust on it, at all

i used to have that issue with the exhaust, till i got creative, look at your local muffler shop for the really small rubber hangers, tucks the exhaust up about an inch, lowest part is where it crosses over the rear suspension links

Not bad to know at all So far it's got Koni Yellow shocks on it, Racing Beat lowering springs, manual steering rack, Flowmaster exhaust, softtop delete, hardtop, BRIDE racing seat, spec miata harness, and a rollbar. Got a lot of plans for it too ;) All motor NA build ^^

i really should put my car in my avatar. 1989 in champagne gold SR20DET at 10psi 3" exhaust out the back, STANCE coilovers megan tension rods, peak inner tie rods, circut sorts outter tie rods, full aero with race diffuser under the rear. CF roof and trunk wing... i should just post a pic, or at least a link to a pic

manhole cover, boulder, a friend of mine is a lowered 240sx hit a metal plate they use to cover holes in the pavement when they are doing road construction, took out his whole oil pan

damn. I aught to be more worried about my car.

I hit a manhole cover that was exposed due to road construction with my old plymouth acclaim, it tore a hole in the transmission pan. Luckily the damage was minimal.

Eh, just put a little duct-tape on it an it'll be alright. :U
