Ah, the tale has done. The book has shut. Let all the land harken and be hale and hearty, for the bard has finished!
...or has he?
Notes: Done in just a few minutes. Made to wrap up the series and lead into the next one. Oh, and i guess i should translate that huge block of latin text...
Through
Passion and Patience
you have strived
Through
Pain and Passion
you have survived.
Jenga Harkdale
Peace may never find you.
Story:
Cupidit ac Patienti
Epilogue:
Jenga woke up in Drez’s room. For a few moments he was baffled, until he noticed who’s chest he was pressed into, and he remembered everything. He didn’t regret it. Not one bit.
Then, he started to notice something. He could move, despite the face that Drez held his body tightly. He looked down, and moved his hands. He saw them move, but another pair stayed still. He got up, feeling himself move, but seeing himself still in Drez’s arms, and yet seeing himself sit up.
Then he noticed it: the book was sitting at the edge of the bed. He inched over, and picked it up. It flipped to the last page, which read:
Per
Cupidit ac Patienti
vos habere virere
Per
Dolere ac Cupidit
vos habere supervivere.
Jenga Harkdale
Pax posse numquam invenire vos.
Jen found the name odd. It was his. How could the author have known who he was? He didn’t have the time to ponder it, as he felt himself being lost back into his physical body.
He was really awake this time, but it didn’t matter. He was oblivious to everything where he was, in Drez’s arms.
Oblivious, it seemed, to the tentative knocking, on the front door.
