The first in a series I've been wanting to do for a while. Throughout the year (hooefully once per month), we'll be seeing Ace interacting with his many Uncles. I hope this can also shed a little light on how each Blue Diamond member shaped his childhood.
First up, the blood relative: chef, Hero, and retired cowboy: Rodeo Retriever!
"Uncle Rodeo was a busy man. Between his job at The Yellowed Fang and his Hero work, he rarely had time to spend with me. Still, whenever he did have a day off, he spent it with me. We'd play games, and he'd do things like teach me how to fire a slingshot or play songs on his harmonica. We'd be tired before sundown, but I think that was my favorite part. We'd sleep in the hammock, and I'd be the closest I could be to him. I never minded that he snored."
