It's weird, I'm getting the same inspired buzz this week off of the Kid here as I was with all that Rena-wankery last week...I might actually start using the Scraps folder for a change if only so I can show some of the doodles.

Anyway, this is just more remedial floodfill coloring, trying to hammer out the Kid's color scheme. I'm actually kinda leaning towards the mostly-black one, honestly; it feels a little less "OOOH-OOOH, SAY, CAN YOU SEEEEEE..!?" and more super-soldier...Hell, even Captain America wears mostly black nowadays (even if it IS a different guy in the suit).

And I stand by giving him the skateboard-shield; most of the doodles I mentioned have been me figuring out how to make it work without being goofy or "totally awesome, duuude." I have all sorts of tricked-out gimmicks for it, but part of me is wondering if I should just leave it a regular (if bulletproof) board, just for simplicity's sake.

One thing that bothers me, and is part of why I'm leaning towards the black suit, is whether he is TOO reminiscent of Captain America; as with all my non-fancharacters, I'm making him with the possibility of publishing him, so Im wondering if there's any chance of problems with Marvel if I do.

....ugh, pipe-dreaming again. Anyway, which colors do you guys prefer?
