This took longer than I was hoping for

Please welcome my new designed character:
Raikin!

He’s a Nue; which is a Japanese chimera that consists of the head of a monkey, body of a tanuki and tiger, and tail of a snake.

I could only manage to color his bust for now between commissions— I’ll get to his full body image eventually!

Nue’s are considered to be pretty evil creatures in Japanese folklore, but I figured to just give him a bratty childish attitude for modern times sake.

The Shinto rope around his neck is to seal his mass destructive abilities in order to prevent chaos onto others such as his ancestors did long ago.

Annnnnnd that’s all I got for him so far. Still working on backstory and stuff!

( ；∀；) is he deemed worthy as a main sona??? Tell me your thoughts!
