Inspired by: dunno... maybe the book Slawter from Darren Shan.. (the color scheme is sooo 'Demonata'-ish, lol..XD)
Colouring: 1,5 hour or less

Yayy, my entry for 's contest! Just in time, pheww!!! :)
So hehe, yup, my very own Shi'Rah, whee! ^__^ I named him Chishika!
Moony was such a sweety and let me to design a bat-winged Shi'Rah, so triple hurray for her, wheee!!! :glomp: Thanks again!!!
Anyway, I'm pleased the whole outcome of this one! ^_^ I had never drawn such a complicated character before, lol!
And noo, not every red chara with purple marks is based on Shinigamigirl, okay?!?!?! Just sayin'

Skin color: Crimson, with purple stripes (mostly on the back) and white dots (on shoulders/butt/face)
Hair Color: White
Eyes: White (and he's blind)
General Background:
Some call it a curse, some call it a blessing in disguise, but, Chishika was born into the world as a secret; his begetter was a savage soldier, who captured a high-priestess after the victory on her village, and locked her in his harem.
Chishika surprised her parents by his born; the sire was truly enchanted by his birth, but when he grew his abnormal wings he scared of his own child; by fury and disgust he killed Chishaka's mother, however, he could not murder his own blood.
Chishaka was let to live, but he was forbidden to get in touch with any Shi'Rah outside his procreative's territory. His only company were his brothers and sisters, who did not care of him. The only exception was the oldest male of them.
He found pleasure in bullying and tormenting Chishaka; it was his very own way, to show his brotherly love to him.
As the time went on, Chishaka was left alone by everyone but his brother. And he even get more cruel than ever as he grew.
When Chishaka earned his years of discretion, he even had the most brutal surprise to him; he did incredibly violence on him, which destroyed the last pieces of Chishaka's self-respect. His whole heart fell into pieces, everything that he once believed were betrayed.
He felt he'd lost the last chain which kept him in the Shi'Rah world; he killed his brother, and escaped into the woods.

Couple of years went away till he lived down all his past, and could start a new life.
He made up another world for himself by the simple beauties of life, and - because of his blindness- his world contains mostly imagination.
Although his young years were horrid, he still calm and tries to search wisdom by every single day. In his opinion everyone should go on, no matter what had happened to them; loss, that he can't share his thoughts and his personal wisdom with anyone.
Because he has left everything material far behind.
He don't meet other Shi'Rah too often, however, sometimes during his lone life he felt that he need to hear from the others, to get a proof that he's not all alone in the whole world; by those rare occasions he showed himself to others, he only get pure fear and disgust, because of his exterior.
He always retourned to his forest, even more dissappointed.

There's one other thing that makes him unique in Shi'Rahs; his one and only passion in life is flying. He thinks that his outlandish wings are not curse, but the mercy of the Spirits. Those wings are a bit stronger than the normal Shi'Rahs', so he would be able to take longer flights. But he don't do it too often; he fears that he would be discovered.
He only take flights when the sun has set, and he could not hear the birds' song.
When that happens he's leaving the certain grounds and dive into his fantasies and dreams, slip into the magic of the pure heart.
