A character design I came up with for an NPC / Dramatis persona for a D&D 5e campaign.

Corbin was named after a particular Ravenmaster of the Tower of London prior to the Deep Ones rising and the attendant apocalypse that followed. As the head of the Tower Guard, this kenku was liberated from his kinds curse. He is only such Kenku at the tower, as was his predecessor, as the duty bringing a reprieve from this burden.

Now after the fall of the veil, Corbin and his flock help guard London from the abominations from the deep that might try to sneak up the Thames river.
