'Following the gravel pathway towards a peaceful cottage hidden by the overgrown vegetation that have consumed it. An odd feeling strikes me, as if though i've been here before. We all get that feeling of Déjà vu but this is ridiculous. The smell of rotting wood and furnitures are noticeable from the distance, especially under this bright sun. I make my way to the glass door around the back, it seems undisturbed. I peek my head in and saw a bedroom, weathered old books scattered, odd shapes, a worn out bed and many junk in the distance that i cannot figure out what. A wave of nostalgia hits me, a warm feeling inside... All i can do is stand there and take a good look inside... in the end the feeling is too overbearing that i cannot bring myself to step inside.'

I hope you enjoy this painting that i made, i try stepping out of my comfort zone and paint an interior. I mean i did a few in the past but it's extremely rare and far few in between. This time i would like to dedicate to that nostalgic feeling when you see a certain abandoned buildings down by the road, it may not always be creepy, but you always get the sense that the placed have been lived in before. I got this feeling when i travel around with my friend, i always have the fascination with abandoned architecture and wanted to explore it more in depth. I am also aware that sometimes the character of Dr.rabbit may not be that good but please bear with me as i am still practicing in characters. So far i would like to know what feeling that this painting gave you! :) Feedbacks are also appreciated, thank you very much!
