There are stories, in folklore, urban legends and the modern creepypasta, that tell of a spirit that once you have gained her attention, she follows you. Everywhere you go, she is there, watching and waiting. If you approach her, she vanishes as if a trick of the light. If you somehow manage to make another truly take notice of her, and the wolf spirit notices her, then once she has finished with you, then they will be the next target of her attention.

Those foolish will think that shes harmless, so that when the night comes that she decides to claim you, you are at your most vulnerable. The stories vary of what happens when she decides to make you hers, with the most descriptive being the folklore that warns of the wolf that wishes a new coat after a hunter or a lover cruely took hers during life.

But all the stories warn, to keep your windows and doors locked at night, and a fire in the hearth. And you might, just might, wake to see a new day.
