Day 2 Part 3
“How long do we gotta hide?” groaned Pangoro as Lucario peeked around the corner of a building.
“Till we don’t have to worry about any more giant Pokemon,” explained Lucario. “Everything is all clear over here. Let’s get moving. We can’t stay in one place for too long.”
“More running,” groaned Froslass as she followed after them. “Can’t one of you carry me? I’m not meant for so much physical activity.”
“We really should consider ditching her,” commented Pangoro, growing tired of her complaints. “Or at least eat her.”
“Right now,” whispered Lucario. “In the event anyone tries to eat us, we can use her as a decoy for ourselves. She’s good for at least being a quick distraction.”
“Yeah, I guess-” Pangoro started to say. “Huh?”
“What?” wondered Lucario. “What’s the matter?”
“Do you hear that?” Pangoro replied holding his paws by his ears to attempt to listen more carefully.
Lucario did the same trying his best to hear. “Now that you mention it,” he replied. “Yes, it sounds like something is heading towards us.”
“Eat... be... ...ten,” they heard and looked around, but couldn’t see anyone.
“What is that?” wondered Pangoro. “Who is saying that?”
“Eat or be eaten,” they heard again.
“Not sure, but it’s getting closer,” pointed out Lucario as he tried to discern the direction it was coming from.
“What are you two going on about now?” asked Froslass before she heard it too. “Huh? Eat or be what now?”
“Eat or be eaten!” cried Steenee as the Grass Type came crashing down right on them at an alarming speed while chanting those words over and over again.
“What in the world?” wondered Froslass, just watching as the Pokemon came down right at her with her mouth wide open. She didn’t even have a chance to react before she found herself swallowed headfirst in the blink of an eye. Lucario and Pangoro were at a loss for words as that happened and could only stare, maws agape, at Steenee, on the ground, with an overly stuffed gut.
“Did… Did that seriously just happen?” asked Lucario.
“A Steenee fall out of the sky and eat Froslass?” replied Pangoro. “It did, but I don’t believe it.”
“Oh, what happened?” Steenee groaned. “My stomach feels stuffed.”
“That’s because you ate Froslass,” Lucario told her.
“I-I did?!?” she gasped with delight, getting up to cheer and jump around despite it upsetting her stomach. “Yes! I did it! Ugh… Eat or be eaten!” As she relished in finally accomplishing her task, she noticed Lucario and Pangoro walking away. “Hey, where are you two going?”
“Losing our decoy isn’t that big of a loss,” commented Lucario, paying Steenee no more attention.
“Not having to listen to her is a definite plus in my book,” agreed Pangoro as they left.
“Don’t just leave me behind!” snapped Steenee as she waddled after them while carrying her gut. “It’s still eat or be eaten and I’m not done yet!”
“H-H-Help me,” whimpered Diggersby as Floatzel hugged him uncomfortably close to her. He called out to Decidueye and Mudkip as they happened upon them, his eyes pleading to be rescued.
“Uh, is something the matter?” asked Decidueye as he looked at the terrified expression on the bunny’s face that was a stark contrast to the shameless smirk Floatzel wore.
“She wants to eat me,” he cried squirming to get away, but to no avail.
“Nonsense,” she drooled and gave his cheek a lick. “I want to do nothing of the sort.”
“You aren’t even trying to look innocent,” Diggersby snapped.
“I’ve got a problem of a different kind,” commented Decidueye able to see through Floatzel’s thinly veiled words on his own. He looked down at Mudkip. “Mine’s with this little guy here.”
“Come on!” Mudkip begged. “Eat me already! Why won’t anyone eat me, already for crying out loud?!?”
“Oh, you have a problem,” smirked Floatzel as she let go of Diggersby and approached the fellow Water Type to pick him up. “I am good at finding solutions to problems.”
“Come on!” Mudkip flailed about. “Eat me! Eat me! Eat-”
Without hesitation, Floatzel stuffed him into her maw and swallowed him down easy with a single gulp. “There, now was that so hard?” she asked like it was the simplest thing in the world.
“Thank you,” they could hear from the now content Pokemon trapped within her stomach.
“That wasn’t how I wanted to solve this,” admitted Decidueye, not sure how to feel about the annoying tag along suddenly gone and now very worried about the new Pokemon he was faced with. While he wasn’t being clung to by Floatzel, Diggersby attempted to move towards Decidueye for protection. The archer owl looked far from content to be getting involved with more troublesome Pokemon.
“He seemed quite content with the results,” Floatzel pointed out before quickly snatching up the Diggersby before he had a chance to slink away. “Now, why not come along with us. It can’t be safe to be alone out here with so many large Pokemon that can possibly gobble us up at any time.”
“Don’t leave me alone with her,” Diggersby pleaded.
“I just go from one troublesome situation to another the Grass and Ghost Type Pokemon sighed and followed along with them.
“That filled me up a little,” she commented. “I hope we can find something bigger for me to eat soon… unless either of you wish to offer.”
“She isn’t very subtle about her voracious appetite is she,” commented Decidueye, remaining calm, but keeping a comfortable distance away.
“Not in the slightest,” shouted Diggersby, unable to keep calm as she kept on licking his face to stimulate her hunger further. “Stop wetting your appetite!”
“Such a sweet, sweet, bunny,” she murred and did not stop.
“Is it time yet?” groaned Charizard, growing tired of remaining airborne for so long as they just continued to survey the ground below. “This is too boring and our time as giants could expire at any moment.”
“Relax,” Typhlosion assured him. “There is almost a full hour remaining. No need to be concerned.”
“Then can we just get on with this plan of yours?” he begged. “I wanna pay off my debt to you so I can do what I want again.”
“Looks like the other remaining giants are close by,” observed Seismitoad. “Now would be the best time to make our move.”
“Yeah,” agreed the giant Typhlosion as he leapt off of Charizard and dropped to the ground with an earthshaking thud.
“D-Did you have to do that?” shivered Seismitoad as he clung for life to the Fire Type’s thumb.
“Oops, sorry,” he apologized as Charizard landed beside him. “That was a bigger fall for you than it was for me.”
“What’s going on here?” questioned Incineroar as he stopped lettering each section of streets to see what just caused the miniature earthquake.
“Don’t go towards the source of the shaking,” cried Raticate as he, Feraligatr, and Zangoose were caged in his palm. “If you get into trouble then you might drop us or squish us or, if not those, then eaten!”
“Looks like that giant Charizard finally decided to come down,” said Feraligatr. “And seems he had a friend hiding on his back. I guess they are ready for a confrontation now.”
“Then full reverse and get us outta here!” ordered Raticate, but Incineroar just kept on heading towards them. “Gah! Where’s the reverse switch on this stupid wrestler cat?”
“That won’t do us any good,” Zagoose pointed out as Arcanine and Emboar were also headed there from behind them. “Looks like we’re surrounded.”
“Then we’re doomed!” cried Raticate. “We’re either gonna be crushed, dropped or eaten!”
“Probably all three,” admitted Feraligatr. “But let’s see what’s going on first before we panic alongside you.”
“What’s going on over here?” wondered Emboar as he and Arcanine hurried over to see the other giants.
“I think this is everyone,” commented Typhlosion.
“I didn’t see any other giants while flying around and that’d be pretty hard to do,” replied Charizard. “There was a Lycanroc, but I think he already vored a Pokemon and shrank back down to size.”
“Then we can begin,” he smirked. “Hey, everyone. As I’m sure you all realize by now, in this competition we’ve all been given a giant boost and if any of you aren’t yet aware, the time limit on this advantage will run out soon. Now, I’d hate to let it go to waste, but it does come with the risk that we might end up getting eaten soon after by either each other or by another contestant if we’re made immobile.”
“The thought did cross my mind,” admitted Incineroar as he eyed Feraligatr in his palm. “I’d rather not leave myself vulnerable, but I don’t want to just use this as a temporary immunity either.”
“I was just having fun running around,” panted Arcanine, as carefree as ever. “But I am getting rather hungry.”
“Can we assume that you have a solution that’ll benefit all of us?” questioned Emboar.
“Precisely,” nodded Typhlosion. “A truce between our groups to ensure we can proceed without worry. I’m certain the other Pokemon have come up with a defense plan to keep us from being able to eat them, which is why I would like us to forge an alliance that’ll last until the end of the second day. We each agree not to eat each other or any of our smaller allies and instead focus on the other groups. Anyone who hasn’t eaten will then make sure to keep all of us safe if we end up immobilized post vore.”
“It sounds good in theory,” admitted Incineroar. “But how can we trust you? For all we know, you might just plan to wait till we eat and then eat us all afterwards. You’ve got two giants on your team as well.”
“Making it more beneficial for you to join us rather than remain as a target,” he added. “To make this even easier, I say we take turns to see who gets to eat in what order. I’ll even volunteer to be first if it’ll set all your minds at ease.”
“If we do this, then we could easily eliminate five other contestants,” stated Emboar. “A lot less competition for tomorrow.”
“Sounds like fun!” barked Arcanine. “Let’s do it!”
“Seems the majority has it so I’ll go along with it too,” admitted Incineroar. “How will we decide the order?”
“How about reverse alphabetical,” suggested Charizard. “It’ll starts with you anyway, Typhlosion.”
“And the last one who’d be big in the end is…” pondered Emboar as they all turned to Arcanine who had his usually carefree happy expression on his face. “Yeah, I think that could work.”
“Then the order will be, Typhlosion,” figured Incineroar. “Myself, Emboar, Charizard, and finally Arcanine.”
“Then let’s find our first snack to get this thing going,” reminded Charizard. “Time is limited and I don’t want to miss my turn.”
“Looks like we’re safe for now,” Raticate sighed with relief.
“The nerve of him making this deal without even consulting us,” grumbled Feraligatr. “Even if it does grant us a bit of safety as a result.”
“Us, but not Dragonite,” realized Zangoose. “If they find her they’ll eat her for sure. Oh, I hope she’s able to stay hidden. As things are, there is no other defense for the others anymore.”
“Run, run, run!” cried Ampharos, as she Raichu, and Mawile hurried down the stairwell of the building they were hiding in. Goodra was hurrying after them too, albeit slower as he had Jolteon still stuck to him, forcing them into an awkward run with six legs as they managed to move side by side while on all fours. They were in a building close enough to the giant Pokemon and were able to overhear their alliance. Immediately, their first thought was getting as far away from them as they could to prevent themselves from becoming their targets.
“Ow. Ow. Ow,” Goodra kept crying as Jolteon’s spikes continued to jab him. Jolteon had her own irritation as her whole body was covered over in Goodra’s slime, making every step she took stick to the ground and took a moment to pull herself free.
“Can’t you guys help us?” grumbled Jolteon.
“We’re not allies,” Mawile reminded her as they made their way to the ground floor. “Just be glad we chose not to eat you when we had the chance. The second we get out of here we go our separate ways cause it’s every mon for themselves.”
“Come on Mawy,” Raichu replied. “Don’t be that way. We’re strongest as a team.”
“Nothing that has happened between us has yet to make that a true statement,” countered Mawile. “As for that nickname, it almost makes me wanna gobble you up right now.”
“Do you really wanna have to lug him around in your gut when we’re trying to get out of here as quickly as possible,” Ampharos pointed out.
“It’s not fun,” Goodra replied, looking at Jolteon. “Trust me.”
“You’re no picnic either, goo boy,” spoke Jolteon with some venom in her words and shoved her spikes into his side again.
“Ow! You did that on purpose,” he cried.
“It’s why I said, ‘almost’” pointed out Mawile. “Now, we’re almost at the ground floor. Once we are certain we can slip away we’ll each go our own way and hopefully… they’ll go after all of you.”
The five Pokemon all made it down to the lobby of the building, but as they reached the doors, they found an obstacle, they didn’t expect, in their way, Slaking, his bulky body like a wall that prevented any of them from getting to the doors. “Oh, looky what I found,” he said upon seeing them all almost run right into him. “Froslass and Primarina will shower me with praise once I bring them back all these Pokemon to nom.”
“Ugh, this is the last thing we need right now,” grumbled Mawile as she gritted her teeth in both her mouths.
“We could probably take him if we all attack at once,” suggested Raichu.
“For once, I agree with you,” replied Ampharos.
“And make a big enough commotion to alert those giants to where we are?” questioned Jolteon. “There’s no way we’d escape from that.”
“And for once, I agree with you,” Mawile told her.
“Then what are we supposed to do?” cried Goodra, this tense situation only making him ooze slime even more.
“I’d say do nothing as I decide which of you I’m going to bring back to my two lovely ladies and which ones I’m gonna have for a little meal for myself,” he smirked before licking his chops and proceeded over to them.
