In all honesty I'll admit that I'm more of a narrow gauge fan, in particular Colorado Narrow Gauge. And when it comes to Standard I like Engines from between 1860 and the 1890's the best. But I do have my ecceptions like this locomotive! I'm also a bit of a Rogers Loco Works fan,. especial their 1890 4-6-0!
But the lines of this Pacific are beautiful and would love to ride behind her one day!

Yes #152 is often sighted as one of the more handsome museum engines still operating in the country. I think this stems from Rogers custom of high quality craftmanship in their builds as opposed to Baldwin or ALCO who in their own right built great engines but were more about quanity rather than quality. Getting a Rogers especially for high speed passenger service was like having a custom car built for you today. They gave your power, speed, and made it look damn good in the meantime.
