Do you have any prior experience with fursuits?
Yes. I have made my own pair of legs before but I'm certainly not a maker. These legs held up for Anthrocon one year though with no issues. I also owned several heads, a couple foam but mostly resin.

Did you tell the maker about any issues you had?
Yes. The legs were too tight, even after giving a DTD. They offered to let the waist out but that isn't where it was tight. They were also aware of holes in the suit and I attempted to sew them myself.

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
Absolutely awful. The head was stuffed with polyfil which made it very hard to breathe in. Because of the use of polyfil, not only was it hot but it was a very loose fit. My head measurements were never taken and it was just a guess to size. This maker is local to me and at no time had asked me to come over for fittings and I was also never given any progress photos. The ventilation in this head is toxic. There is nearly none and while a fan was put in, hot glue was used and the heat from my breath caused the glue to melt and the fan to fall out. I needed to actually rip the fan off of the wire to get it out of my head. The mesh used was VERY fine and the back of the eyes were not painted black so the vision was difficult. I would get headaches from trying to focus to see anything.

Inside of the head, right in the mouth, there were two pieces of jagged metal to "hold the mouth open". Upon taking these pieces out, the mouth was not held open any more or less. These pieces of metal were not sanded down or even covered well. A single piece of fleece covered the sharp hazardous metal, which was rusting, from touching my face and possibly harming me.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
I have mixed feelings on how the head looks from the outside. Since I was given no progress photos, I didn't have a say. Triton is a majestic looking buck and the suit I was given was very 'My Little Pony"-ish and cutesy. Upon closer look, it is VERY clear there is almost no symmetry to the head. The shaving is not even and the white fur used feels like a very cheap 'Joann's' like fur. I'm just not happy with the head because it isn't what I wanted.

Special Attachments and Features
Please describe how satisfied you are with any extra features your head has.
There were posable antlers attached to the head, which was a cool concept. Triton's antlers are supposed to sparkle and to make that work, she used a spray on fabric glitter glue. This made the antlers a bit sticky and easily picked up dirt, making them appear dirty. I believe the antlers added a lot of weight to the head, along with the extra polyfil, and added to the "floppiness" of the head, causing it to not fit properly.

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
The body is actually just legs. There was no top. These legs were awful right from the start. The material on the inside didn't stretch in the right direction, making it very difficult to pull on and off. The legs got tight around my knee area as well, and I had to try and be careful to pull them up. With all the polyfill, getting into these legs was a workout. The airflow was none. There was polyfil around my whole body.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
The body looks nice from the outside. It seems to be a drop-crotch suit but that wasn't the intention at all- the suit just doesn't fit. The fur looks alright, the spots on the body aren't symmetrical at all and neither is the white of the rear. There is no shaving on the legs. Considering this was all polyfil, there is no shape. I look sorta like a blob...

The hands appeared cute but had holes right from the start. The look nice from afar but if you look close, they aren't sewn even at all.

The symmetry is off by a lot and it gives a messy look for sure. They weren't shaved and look more like a horse than they do anything else.

They were hooves so I consider that a bit of a special feature. My biggest complaint is they are all stuffed with polyfil.

How well does everything fit together and match up?
Not very well. Arm sleeves were completed for this suit as well, for free as a gift, and the same fabrics were not used. It didn't look right but you can't complain much when something is free. The symmetry was off by a LOT but thankfully it was difficult to see when being worn. If you read the TOS, it states that if the symmetry is off, then you're out of luck because they don't cover that. I recommend anyone read their TOS because it is absolutely bonkers.


How easy was it to initially contact the maker for a quote?
Easy because she was a friend.


How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take the maker to get back to you?
We used Facebook, Telegram, and text messages.


How satisfied are you with the professionalism and customer service and of the maker?
This maker decided to slander me publicly and continue to make up lies to try and save her business. She then attempted to change her name to hide from the fact that she made this fursuit. You can still see Triton on her Etsy and personal page. There are screenshots on Instagram under fluvvbusters of the nasty comments and accusations she has made of me, which I followed up with videos, photos, and screenshots of the exact opposite. A maker should not slander a friend, let alone a customer. Rather than owning the mistake, I haven't gotten an apology, only the slander, lies, and hate.


How satisfied are you with how long your project took to complete?
There was no time limit because I told her to take her time and finish mine when she gets to it. I was a friend, I got a friends discount, and I felt I didn't take priority.


Are you happy with the product you received?
Absolutely awful. This piece fell apart after owning it for a couple months. This wasn't worth even the "friend discount" I paid.

When I had come out for the first time about Triton's leg construction, I was first accused of destroying my own costume because I was "kicked" from her wedding. If you look at the screenshots, you can see that isn't true at all. I was then slandered and called a murrsuiter and that's why my suit fell apart. She told people not to talk to me and she tried to zero in on my PTSD to try and silence me. Thankfully I had friends there to help me stand up for myself and it seemed like she had backed off. That wasn't the case and she continued to speak about me behind my back and even told a mutual friend of mine that my suit ripped because I was simply too fat. I have always been happy to show proof, screen shots, or openly talk about the suit and myself and I still invite people to do the same.
