Actually, think of his chest like a mouth. He can actually open up his chest to reveal his creepy looking heart, or to pull out his guitar. He opens it up when doing solos or when double teaming with a Heart Cutter, which stabs his heart to raise spikes from the ground. It doesn't hurt him, though, which is nice 8U
