Both are fanstasy works so I don't see why not? Both have intelligent quadrupeds and bipedal creatures so it's possible both worlds could be linked.

I found a few interesting fanfics on fimfiction that look decent. In fact some of th platfrmes we growled up with in some ways be crossover. Ratchet and clank is good example with ratchet crashing on equestria via ship or by some portal or interdimensional tear. I seen some sly ones but haven't read them, not sure how they would work. But out of a lot platformers I do think spyro is best choice for crossover.
