This is Smalldawn, a character from my NaNoWriMo story and the mother of the lead character. She's a creature known as a Wirrsa - a canine/feline hybrid. In this case, she is a lion/jackal mix.
Smalldawn is another one of the females in the Goldgrass Pack, her sister is Ashfoot. She has one son, and adolescent named Sandfur, who was recently cast out of their pack. She is the storyteller of the pack, and known for her gentle nature.
