This is Darkeyes, a character from my NaNoWriMo story. She's a creature known as a Wirrsa - a canine/feline hybrid. In this case, she is a lion/jackal mix.
Darkeyes is the youngest of the females in the Goldgrass Pack, her mother being Brackenfur and her younger sister is Coaltips. All four of the cubs in her first - and current - litter were killed before they reached two weeks age. The event has left her bitter and withdrawn from the rest of the pack.
