Cupidit ac Patienti - Episode 4: Confrontations
Synopsis: Has there ever been that someone special in your life that you've wanted to get to, but never had the chance? Well, it seems like Jenga Harkdale may just have that chance.
Episode 4: Confrontations
Drez is pissed, and now it seems even Jenga is catching on to the drift of things - but still oblivious.
Notes: Yes, it's short. I mainly wanted the story to introduce Drez's gun. I've been playing Neo Steam all day, and i made a character of Drez, as a lupine. No, it's not a fox, i know. But the muzzle is so...all-encompassing, that it doesn't take much to see it as one. Anyways. I basically gave Drez his outfit from the game. But his gun in-game is a shotgun. Here, it's just a revolver. It wouldn't make sense, him cleaning a shotgun and not be hunting somebody's head.
Done in about 30 minutes or so.

Episode 4: Confrontations
“What the HELL??!!” Jen screamed as he walked inside.
“What?!” Drez dropped the parts of the pistol he’d been polishing onto the table, looking around.
Jenga pointed a paw at the disassembled Colt .45 revolver on the countertop.
“What, that?” Drezda picked up the barrel piece. “I was polishing it. My dad gave it to me a few years ago. I never got around to checking it out.”
Jen was still shocked. “But…it’s a gun!”
“Yes, and? It’s not like I have any ammunition for it, or anybody to fire it at.” He sat back down, picking up the rag he had been using to clean the pieces.
Jen just sighed. He finally took a moment to notice what his best friend was wearing. Which was, for the most part, nothing. Just a pair of bright blue, baggy cargo jeans, and red combat boots. He was shirtless, and Jen blushed a bit at his muscular upper body.
He reprimanded himself silently. This was his best friend! He shook his head and sighed, walking to Josh’s room. He had seen the wolf’s car out front, so he decided to see if he was awake.
When Josh heard the door to his room open, he grinned widely. Jen grinned back, just as wide, but definitely more genuine. He walked over and lay down on top of Josh’s chest, hugging him fiercely. “I missed you…” he crooned softly.
Josh rubbed his fur gently. “I missed you too, hun. It was so boring at my parents place.”
Jenga giggled. “I bet.”
The two lay like the for a while, peacefully.
“Ahem…”
The two looked up, both with slightly annoyed expressions, at Drez.
He mentally shrugged, oblivious to their annoyance. It didn’t nearly rival his hate for Josh. “If you two are going to be sappy, at least have the courtesy to close the door so the rest of us don’t have to see. Don’t you two have a date to go on, anyways?”
The two wolves blinked, as if just now remembering. Jen sprung up, quickly scrambling from the room. “I need to get ready!”
Drez followed him out, closing the door behind him, almost slamming it. He walked back to the counter, returning to polishing his gun. He needed to relieve his anger somehow.
A few minutes later, almost as if the gods were purposely trying to anger him, the two wolves walked out of their rooms simultaneously. Jen was dressed in a black dress shirt and beige pants. Josh was dressed in a light brown vest, white dress shirt, and brown pants. The two stared at each for a few minutes, until Drez cleared his throat, causing them to look at him with slight annoyance, moreso from the larger wolf.
Did they have to do that? It was torture enough seeing them together, when he knew Jen would get hurt, it was worse having Jen mad at him as well.
They brushed past him, hand in hand. They shut the door with a quiet slam.
Drez reassembled the revolver. He cocked it, despite it having no ammunition. He needed to shoot things.
He pulled on a dark blue shirt with a light blue epaulet and popped collar. It had an odd blue-gold design on the front of it. He tucked the revolver into the holster he had strapped to his belt.
He was going to the shooting range.
