this is the finished character design of boss number 1 : No. 464
======================
back story--
No. 464 or Carlson is a soldier that was originally KIA decades ago. soldiers at the time were subject to testing new technology and constantly subjected to augmentation, Carlson was sign into a test called "full body conversion", this test was to see if the human mind can be ported into advanced robotics and effects of the process. No. 464 has 2 meaning, the model number, and the amount of days before the mind degrades and slowly enters unstable and hostile. He was given the name No. 464 because he was an half-built design by SyA CORE scientist, and was finished by Hunter Co. All of SyA CORE files and names of people in testing were Classified for protection, because the files cannot be accessed they could not identify Carlson's name, therefore named by his model number.
No. 464 can vaguely remember his past but attempts to remember important memories like his family, friends, and events that happened during the war he was fighting cause episodes of anger and aggression towards others. there is no explanation to why this happens, the scientist hypothesized that No. 464, when he was human, experienced a very traumatic death before being ported.--(will add more to his back story)--

image explanation
#1: No.464's great shield
One of the most reliable armament in his arsenal. (Edit. will change image to show) His shield a grip and clamps that attach to his inner arm under the forearm armor casing(armor casing it extends outward) . it can be swapped to both arms as so. The white bit is a ground smasher with a pointed tip
#2 No. 464's mind case.
The mind case is the device that holds all the information ported from his original body. Being the most protected, it is the most fragile part of his body.
#3 Height reference
#4 No. 464's "flak" cannon
A high-powered long rang weapon with plasma shrapnel "spread" shots when shot is in range of an enemy the shot explodes releasing smaller bits of plasma. Each shot , depending on distance, can split into 3 times. Example, 1 splits into 3. 3 splits into 9. finally 9 splits into 27 at max.
(edit) this is also can be detachable and can be placed on is left shoulder
#5 Sprite reference

Nice. The Blue Bomber franchise and those fan characters related to it are pretty great.
As far as No. 464's behavioral outbursts, I would say that he suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder related to his human death; furthermore, to my own knowledge, he may be the first Megaman-related robot with PTSD. That's fine for his character; continue with that. He is also suffering from a form of amnesia, and in all fairness, some people never actually recover their memories, so that's something to think about if you plan on writing out any stories for this character. It's sad, but it happens.
As far as his weaponry, I would recommend a change: electromagnets, and any magnet really, aren't good for electronics or robots (despite the fact that Magnet Man and Magna Centipede exist), so I would suggest that you change his shield a bit. Given the fact that his flak cannon seems to be attached only to his right shoulder, I would recommend that you slightly change his left arm to have an attachment which accommodates his shield. That way, he can always use his left arm and shield to block incoming attacks, while he prepares his right shoulder cannon for retaliation. Also, don't feel like you have to be symmetrical. I know that Vile's sprite will always change his cannon position, but that was only due to sprite mirroring. All official artwork of every version of Vile gives him a right-mounted shoulder cannon. In other words, rely on a sense of reality, because reality can be forgiving.
As far as his sprite art goes, I love it. You did a good job with the understanding of his interior brain. Also, you did a great job with the mundane sameness and reliable monotony of a military robot. I do like this sprite art. It's good! Keep up the great art, whenever you can and for as long as you wish!

wow thanks, the original idea of this character's shield was attached to the arm instead the second idea was a mechanize clamping system that opens and grabs the shield , i might change it to that instead. the overall design of it and how it works is more like a gundams shield. the second thing is i did not add to the gun section is it can be switched to both sides because the attachment ports. but any ways thanks i have more like this on the way you can see most of them here. old versions of this oc as well. https://www.deviantart.com/sparx1lithum
