This is the stone for my cousin's ring. After all the spinel and alexandrite I've been messing around with, it was nice to get back to something softer. I was able to power this out in like 6 hours of work. Now I just need to get the actual rings. I have a bead on the ring for the first stone (the round one.) I just need to save up the $120 it'll cost. This one should be cheaper, since he just wants a sterling silver ring, not gold. Probably about $180 for both. Then I just need to mount both of them and all will be well.

Nice!
Seeing these makes me want to cut more, but I've not replaced those laps that need replacing yet... *sighs* and I'm pretty broke.
The last thing I cut was just some glass, but it was Vaseline glass and made a nice stone that has fluorescence when a blue laser is bounced through it, so you can see the ray tracing in real time :D
