January 15th, 3PM: Miyu texts Kenshiro:

"Meet me at your workplace, we need to talk."

Kenshiro knew something was going on, and he accepted to be there.

At the restaurant where he works, he finds Miyu sitting in a table for two. Miyu was looking unrecognizably down, Kenshiro knew this couldn't be good.

Miyu explained to Kenshiro that she had visited her father in Kyoto, and asked him about coming to the wedding, but he had replied with a bitter speech about her relationship with Kenshiro, which starts with: "Miyu, darling, don't call me out for being unsupportive, but... I don't think you and that guy are right for each other..." He had said that he couldn't believe a relationship with a "fat blob" like Kenshiro would last so long, and while Miyu had tried to explain, her father just didn't listen or even let her finish, she knew it had to end.

Kenshiro couldn't believe what he was hearing, he knew where it was going. Miyu then pronounced the words that would break Kenshiro's heart definitely...

"Kenshiro... I think we should spend some time apart."

Miyu proceeded to leave the building soon after saying this, and Kenshiro, heartbroken, had tried to get her back, but it was impossible, Miyu had already walked through the door and left him forever.

Kenshiro cried helplessly, knowing moreover that Miyu didn't love him anymore, and she never would again.
