This is Fauzt and Piie.
Fauzt (same as "Faust") is the big wolf. He's HUGE compared to your average wolf; thick-jointed, sinewy and... Dumb. Pretty cowardly, too. When he speaks, he does so with a thick Southern accent which sometimes makes him unintelligible, fulfilling that sort of naive farm boy/gentle giant role. Being a "gentle giant," he's very protective over anyone he can manage to get close to. Most either run him off for his size or intimidate him enough (and it doesn't take much) that he runs off himself.
Piie's the smaller wolf, and she's not a puppy- she's just, by interesting contrast, very SMALL compared to your average wolf. I don't know the full story behind Piie, but I believe she's actually a demon of sorts- she's actually a cannibal, interestingly enough.
While they may not be mates (I believe Piie's already mated), they're something of a "dynamic duo." Best buddies, always hanging around and such... Very close. Fauzt loves Piie very dearly, but has yet to actually admit it. Fauzt tends to cart Piie around on his back, or just lays around with her held close like a teddybear, and takes a lot of pleasure in having someone he can sorta "push around," since she doesn't really fight back much if he gives he a little shove or pins her. In turn, Piie can nip and bite and gnaw and not really have to worry about doin' much real harm to Fauzt because he's just so damn big.
So, tiny li'l miss Piie, and big ass dumb country wolf Fauzt. They make an interesting pair, and I'm fond of both of them.
