Lady of the Winterwood - Northern Lights

Color theme: Northern Lights
A walk in the woods in the middle of winter brings you to a small clearing. Snow falls silently around you, and aside from the sound of the wind brushing against bare tree branches and your footsteps crunching in the snow, you hear nothing. You suddenly realize you don't recognize this part of the forest. Perhaps you were daydreaming too much and stepped off the usual path. You spin around to try and get your bearings and gasp as your eyes meet with hers. She appeared from nowhere, but she stands inches from you now. A glowing white orb hovers above one hand and she seems to smile.
"Well, traveler, it seems you may be lost. I don't often meet strangers here, especially those from outside the Realm. Tell me, how did you come to arrive in my woods?"
The story is yours to finish from here. ^_~ Perhaps you've met a Faerie, or a Winter Goddess, or some other creature entirely. Tread carefully though...they aren't all whimsical here.
