Two of my newcomers that I freaking adore <3
On the left is what happens when agate inherits carnelian's intense orange/red colors....or if carnelian inherits agate's banding???? I dunno! XD
And the amethyst chunk is just so vibrant and shiny, looks less like quartz and more like a freaking diamond.

The ones I find are amygdules weathering out of greenstone basalt on a beach, so they're usually nicely round and polished. Sometimes there are matrix pieces. The coolest ones have "Eyes" in them... They come in orange to dark red to purple, but are usually a typical carnelian red.
