nice nice. hey do you know what a recoloured artwork means? my friend uploaded something and someone said you cant submit recoloured artwork.

Basically, it means someone else drew and/or colored it. Then someone else took the same work and changed the colors. Without expressed permission from the Original Artist, especially if it's not something you paid to have done for you, it's considered the same as art theft here on FA and that is a big no-no.

If it's a commission, something you paid to have someone draw/color for you, and you have expressed permission of the artist to repost/recolor it, there aren't any problems then. There are a LOT of well known FA artists here and most of them do NOT appreciate having their work recolored and/or reposted, especially without their knowing.

thanks. what if you got a pic and redrew the figures and they originaly for example anime and then you turn it into texture furry art is that still bad? and would it be ok admiting that if it was the case inside the info box? as long as you dont ever get money for it.

If you're using the picture as Inspiration for an original piece, or doing a furry-form Fan Art that's one thing.

But to just outright reuse someone's piece it's still art theft. Just changing it from Human to Furry doesn't change the fact you're still copying someone else's idea and work.
