Late in the Spring of 2009, my friend Jim and I got to discussing the "Daily" comic strips we enjoyed while we were growing up. Our conversation eventually turned to T. K. Ryan's "Tumbleweeds" which resulted in a trip to Phelan in order to buy several paperbacks of the collected comics. Jim discovered a website dedicated to Tumbleweeds, and much to our delight, got an E-mail from the Artist himself. Jim bought several books from Mr. Ryan, and when we got the books, the Artist included two signed copies of his latest book. I drew this comic as a "Thank You" response, and I think he got a chuckle from it.
