Fox stood in the shower, letting the warm, soothing water run over him. His status as a renowned pilot had rewarded him with a decent dwelling, with the shower stall of his restroom being about twice as large as a normal shower. However, the portly fox was by no means living in the lap of luxury. Hell, his bathroom didn’t even have a proper bathtub. Still, his living arrangement was slightly better than most. He sighed as he lazily glanced around the shower.

Although the tan-tiled shower room was still rather spacious, he felt as though it were a tad less roomy than usual. He shrugged, assuming that it was merely his imagination. The once-limber pilot lathered himself with yellow, bubbly shampoo. “Luxurian - The finest four-in-one conditioner, body wash, and shampoo in the solar system. Heh. Looks like they forgot to include whatever the fourth function is.” He chuckled to himself as he absentmindedly read the label of the bodywash aloud.

He hummed a light song as he rubbed the wash into his orange fur, subconsciously wondering why his arms had to reach so far to reach certain parts of his body. The mighty Fox McCloud had a problem as clear as daylight - he had gotten fat. However, since he hadn’t really seen anyone from his crew for sometime, there wasn’t really anyone to inform him of this startling reality. He continued softly humming his tune as rubbed his swollen stomach, which was clearly distended from the hearty breakfast of five pancakes, one dozen donuts, and whole gallon of milk he had eaten before stepping into the shower. Despite his somewhat stuffed state, his hand still sunk into his flabby midsection when he rubbed the soapy substance accross his fine hide, giving himself a distinctly citrus-like fragrance.

Finally, the fox turned off the semi-scalding water, and slid open the shower door, causing steam to billow forth in the wake of his thick body. The fluffy fox’s voluminous guy jiggled profusely as he walked to the towel rack. He wrapped a towel around himself, letting his belly sag forth over the fabric ever so slightly.

He glanced to the corner of the bathroom, looking at his old scale. He grimaced, remembering the reading it had displayed when he used it two weeks ago. Chances are it’d say he was even heavier now. “That thing is probably just busted. Sure, I’ve gotten a little... rounder as of late... but 276? That’s absurd... I really aught to get that scale fixed.” He mumbled to himself as he absentmindedly scratched his stomach. Suddenly, he was interrupted by a light growl from his belly. Fox stroked his smooth chin, wondering if that pizza place down the street would be open this early...

Wow, the description for this one ended up being a lot longer than I originally intended. Anyways, I had a lot of fun drawing this one, as the pose and concept were pretty interesting to work with. I tried a bunch of different techniques when it came to texture and such and I’m really happy with how this turned out! Hope you all enjoy!!
