The time had finally arrived...time to avenge the death of the man who'd raised him, taught him that his birthright didn't have to be a tool of the Dark Powers. On this night, Arek would be avenged, and the wolves....would pay. Damon had been training for this moment for the last five years of his life, every fiber of his being focused on learning the skills necessary to take down a creature as dangerous as a werewolf, without being killed in the process. Yellow eyes straining, he managed to pick out the outlines of their few meager shelters, shrouded in Mist and radiating evil into the night. His scimitars a comforting weight at his side, Damon growled quietly to himself, feeling the bloodlust rise within him. Tonight, there would be blood for blood.


My Ravenloft character, Damon. He's a Ranger, who has a dark secret...he's a werewolf, and born that way, but his parents were killed when he was just a pup, and his destiny was changed when he was found by the Ranger Arek Montblac. Arek raised him to believe that he was not, in fact, inherently evil for being a werewolf. But then, one day, 17 years after he was found by Arek, Damon came home from taking a walk in the forest he called home to find Arek's house in smoking ruins, and the body of the Ranger slashed to ribbons and scattered throughout the clearing. Damon devoted himself to the hunting of werewolves, as his sensitive nose had given him the clue that it had been wolves that killed his adopted father.


I'm very proud of this, even though I used a reference ( This one, in fact. ) because it captured fairly well the attitude Damon has in combat, and it's one of the more dynamic poses I've done lately.
