This one's a little simpler, and thus gets the benefit of a tiny bit of anti-aliasing :P
aaahaha mad science cliches for the win! This was way fun to do. I've never really done mouth animation before (outside of my head, anyway) and the whole "it's aliiiiiive!" bit seemed like it would be an awesome start XD
Thanks Malison! This was fun!

I used to do icon stuff in easytoon and then finished up in photoshop, but now I'm using TVpaint for most everything! I still do the final resize and export in photoshop, because it has much better control over GIF color palettes and does a better job at resizing and the like
the astounding thing is that it really doesn't take much to make a reasonably useful program for doing animation.
I used EZtoon for a long time because I ENJOYED using it. Compared to photoshop or fireworks or just about anything else out there it's way better. Photoshop's animation tools are just a complete mess, and fireworks is... well fireworks is fireworks.
TVpaint is nice since it's actually designed for animating (I really don't like animating in vector, ala Flash or ToonBoom, too sluggish), but frankly it's way more than I need for the goofy little stuff that I do. I'm amazed that one of the smaller drawing programs like OpenCanvas or SAI have not implemented some basic animation tools. It really wouldn't take much!
Maybe I'll just have to write my own one of these days....
