It's exactly why I've enjoyed this comic's spin on this show: it tackles the fear of disapproval. The reality of living in a straight world and what I felt when I was coming out to myself. The wish of wanting things to just be easoer to deal with, but then not being afraid to just at least to the choices. I know it's a subject covered many times over, but it's a subject that draws folks to this story. I'm patient enough to keep reading your work as long as your patient enough to keep going, and that's why I've always admired this comic. I hope you keep telling your story because it reminds me of thankful I am to be who I am. Sounds corny, but it's true. The simple pleasures in life are things a lot of folks take for granted.
I really know what you mean: My coming out was years ago and even if the drama & the fear seem so silly now… these kinds of "coming-out" stories still resonate with me on a very deep level (and that is why I am making my own, duh.)
All the lying, the acts you had to put up and all the bullshit you had to endure… it just makes me appreciate it so much more now, who I am today. And who I can be, without fear.
Thanks for sticking with me and my slow comic. Comments like these are the reason, why I get back to draw for countless hours on a single page. :3

With Callie being prone to "cheating", as it were, have Chance and her really set boundaries? Couples of any combination neglect to set these boundaries — and all too often have this sudden realization that they needed to set them once someone has "tried out" a different partner for a change. Watching from the sidelines, it's quite the shame that there's the possibility that these two might go down the same path.
