This here is Barton's first friend, Roy. The pair met on a fair day, when Barton entered an eating competition. Managing to just win, Roy offered to help the badger rest after eating so much. Soon enough, the pair kept meeting afterwards here and there, quite glad to see each other. It wasn't until the fair next year that their friendship was solidified, when Barton helped Roy conquer his fear of a haunted house ride.
Since then, the badgers had been firm friends, hanging out, exploring and such. Once Ken joined the two, that only multiplied more~

Roy is a bit of a sensible-but-a-goof badger. He knows what to do and such, but will sometimes accidentally slip over to the 'silly' side of things, especially if they seem a bit more fun. He also tends to enjoy a bit of adventure, wanting to explore the wide world and what it holds.

At least, until one fateful visit to the Lunar City. Shaken from it, the badger was more inclined to go 'sensible'. He even wore clothes that fit properly(!). And with Barton gone, the badger is left finding himself, wondering what to do. Luckily, he does have help. In the form of a time-travelling tiger that just loves to suddenly appear and vanish without him knowing. (I refer to Fenrir, the character of  lionkinglover12 )
