Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
Pumpkin's balaclava is soft, thin and works perfectly favourably. It cleans easily too. The head is not too heavy but it does feels secure and sturdy. Vision is fantastic, the eyes are large and with a very small blind spot (basically impossible to not have one in a fursuit!) they ventilate well and have a good field of view. I've never felt issues with my vision in the costume at all, outside of your regular fursuit vision issues.
The ventilation is not the best I've come to experience, The maker was made aware that I am a asthmatic and to try to make the suit as well ventilated as possible. It's perfectly serviceable and I don't notice any issues myself, I've just worn suits that are better ventilated since, however the suit is due for a refurb from the same maker. One of the things done during that refurb will be hollowing out the suit to make better ventilated, just so I can extend my fursuiting time!
The only issue I can recall is that there is a head rest inside the top of the fursuit. A piece of foam build into the top of the costume that secures the head better, it hugs snugly onto the sides of my temples. This does make the head far more secure but still allows space inside the rest of the head without it rattling. The issue with this is that it can be a bit too tight, this can sometimes mean that I have to stop fursuiting early as it can ache - rather than stopping early from heat exhaustion or other reasons. It's a minor complaint but I'd like to be transparent about any issues with the suit - I did not bring up this issue with the maker before or after my warranty time because it is not a serious issue that impedes me fursuiting.


Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
The appearance of the costume is exceptional.
The markings on the face are all correct. A marking on the ears was incorrect, instead of a curved line they did a V shaped line, as my full character design used both of those types of lines I rolled with it - I know that if I asked they would have corrected this for me. It works within the character design and I am happy with it! Everything else is perfectly spot on to the ref sheet. The markings are all symmetrical, same with the eyes. The shaving is consistent all over the head. The neck is perfectly long enough to cover all skin. The fur types match together well, there is no weird changes in fur lengths. The painting on the eyes blows my mind to this day, It's a wonderfully done gradient - most people don't even notice that the character and suit has no pupils because the eyes are still so detailed.
The expression is spot on to the grumpy character I had in mind and the concept art I provided.

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
My hand-hooves are heavy, very heavy! I love it that way though, it really helped shape my acting in the costume, how I move, how I act. They are very tight on the wrists and can be difficult to get them both on by myself but I can do it! I wouldn't say that they dont fit my hands, but there tight to help keep them on my hands considering they are heavy. I do find them comfortable to wear, Once they are on! I wouldn't change my choice for the style of hand hooves if I had the opportunity to though.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume pieces look from the outside.
My hooves look AWESOME! I am so glad I picked the 4 fingered hooves option, how the fluff spikes up around the individual hooves is really special. You never see any seams and its all very well made. I've genuinely put these hooves through hell (literally hitting the ground with them) and they are still in amazing shape and look fantastic. They are lines at the cuff but not internally, They also have a custom tag of the makers logo inside them as well as inside the head which is a lovely touch! Colours match perfectly, no complaints here!

How well does everything fit together and match up?
All fur types match across both parts I'm reviewing from SnowGryphonSuits here today. Everything is even and feels like they are definitely a part of the same fursuit from the same builder. Everything does fit, it's just very snug to me, which does rule out fursuit swapping! This fursuit is very consistent with there other creations, there other grumpy goat costumes is why I went with them over anyone else and I immediately felt like I matched them. As well as the rest of the other costumes from other species, I've actually organised one of there group fursuit photoshoots at a convention now. You really can tell were all from the same builder without us looking like recolours.



How easy was it to initially contact the maker for a quote?
Incredibly easy, they replied to my tweet asking who was open for commissions as they were closed. They were my dream maker for my goat but I like to have alternatives on hand! They gave me there email and opened up a slot just for me as they were excited to make my costume and it was only a head and hooves.


How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take the maker to get back to you?
I never waited longer than a few hours for a response. It helps that we are in the same time zone. Always within the same day, responses were prompt throughout the entire process, even with the smallest query.


How satisfied are you with the professionalism and customer service and of the maker?
Outstanding.
Better than any I've experienced before or since.
They are understanding, kind and compassionate as well as feeling like a business and a brand. My costume came equipped with a care guide as well as a letter of thankyou for my custom. Conversations were always through email and I was always treated with the upmost respect throughout the process and after it! Can't praise them enough on this!


How satisfied are you with how long your project took to complete?
Pumpkin was paid for at the start of December and in my hands by February the 13th, so around 2 months?
My deadline was May, so it not only met my deadline but was finished months before hand, I never felt like my costume was ever rushed because of this short completion time at all. The items were shipped next day delivery. They arrived perfectly and with no issues at all. Incredibly great turn around time with a sturdy long lasting costume at the end!


Are you happy with the product you received?
100% I am more than happy with the product I received.
Like with everything that is hand made there will always be some very slight issue and for me that's just inside the head it being slightly too tight, I've never noticed this to be a serious issue that has severely impacted or put me off fursuiting.
The customer service was impeccable, the turn around time is astounding. The finished costume is incredibly robust and its appearance is better than I could have hoped for. I can't sing this makers praises enough and they have only gone on to improve tremendously in the 4 years it has been since my costume was completed.

To conclude;
SnowGryphonSuits is a maker I would recommend whole heartedly. I've got nothing but respect and admiration for what they do. Since receiving Pumpkin, the owner Kerjiano has gone on to become one of my best friends in the world. I've gotten to see just how much they care about everything they make, how much love, time and effort goes into the costumes they produce and I'm incredibly proud of them and the fursuit family I get to be a part of.
