Project Timeless Cast (104-106): Nick Noir Secondary Cast
UPDATE (9/17/2021): Vivian didn't just get an upgrade, she got some company! She's now accompanied by Tina and Cyrus!
The Nick Noir: Ace Detective universe has some secondary characters which help fill in the world and they bounce off the private eye himself. Vivian LaBombshell, Tina Trace, and Chief Cyrus Clash.
Vivan is the redsident anti-hero, being both a criminal who participates in crimes, while also giving clues to the good detective on how to solve said crimes, she constantly walks the line between being criminal and an ally. Despite her helpful attitude, she still can't help but be part of the crime life- it's just too fun to give up. But all she wants is money, not to hurt anyone, especially not Nick. This corgi doesn't have "Bombshell" in her name for nothing, as she's an expert chemist. She creates chemical compounds that result in explosive formulas, which is how she's able to break into places as well as make her getaways.
Tina is a young mouse who wants to escape the confines of her life, being forced to be a girl who's supposed to take interest in a lot of stereotypical girly things, she joins Nick's side after he helps her out on a crime where her family was robbed. This is where she gets to show her talents and interest in forensic science- she loves exploring, cleaning, and discovering clues at the crime scene, and she wants to be Nick's assistant, even though he has reservations about having a child working with him on dangerous crime scenes.
Cyrus is the local chief of police for the city, and he is a very stressed, high-strung man. He has a short temper, and it's mostly thanks to both the rampant crime in the city, as well as being constantly shown off by Nick as the skilled private eye. He doesn't enjoy being made a fool so he's constantly forced to find a way to one-up the two-man team of Nick and Tina.
Due to the cartoonier style of the Nick Noir universe I could be more free to do silly artistic things, like giving the characters floaty eyebrows, and mouths that don't connect to her muzzle. Also, because it's a cartoon for kids, no smoking allowed! Hence the bubbles coming from Vivian's pipe. But everything else is fine- including the occasional murder.
