I really enjoyed painting this one. The colours were so much fun to play with. While I did this one in a pretty standard acrylic technique I added a nice thin blue glaze over the finished painting to pull all the colours together. 16x20 acrylic on illustration board. Prints available.

The whole thing came out gorgeously.
I love the peacocks tail and the wisteria (sp?). Beautifully done.

My I ask what kind of paints you use?

This was done with acrylics. I tend to use a number of different brands. Pebeo, Windsor Newton and some Liquitex or Golden.

Interesting. I normally used water colors myself. i'm going to have to play with Acrylics more.

The nice thing about acrylics is that you can use them with watercolour techniques.

The Blue Transparent Glaze really adds a sense of the scene being lit by moonlight. I'll have to try that the next time I colour up a "Nighttime" scene. I really like your attention to detail too. Especially in the fantasy dress the character is wearing.

As I said before, your are simply amazing, the only thing I have to bitch about are the planes on wich things are put. They seem to be a tad bit to squished or not interacting enough. EX. The wolfess and the railing VS the pilliar.

I will admit that I have a problem with planes. I do have a tendancy to squish things together. Really need to work on that!
