Yup, that's me and the Stanley Cup. I'm a huuuuuuuuuge fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins and it was pretty much the best day of my LIFE when we won the Stanley Cup in June. The Victory Parade that following Monday was just another AMAZING FUCKING DAY.
This picture was taken on October 3rd, the day after our season opener. They had a thing for season ticket holders to go get their picture taken with the Cup...I'm not a season ticket holder, but my friend found the tickets on ebay, and, well, here you go!

JEALOUS! I had an oppurtunity to see the cup at a hockey convention here...but then it ran away before I got there to go to a charity event. Lord Stanley evades me again ;-;

I've met RyRy several times (live in the Bflo), He knows me by face right now...soon by name XP
I tried to meet the Pens when they came to town...stood outside with my talbo jersey, waving it and whining like a beaten puppy (i'd stood outside in 20 degree weather for 2 hours...i was whining in PAIN). They just waved at me (Tanger I believe...it was a good 150-200 feet away...). I have a present I need to give Sid...will if it kills me D:
After I didn't meet them outside the bus...I stuck out the hotel they stayed at. I'm a creeper XD. I saw Talbo and Flower hanging out and picking out suits. I saw Geno check out. omfg that guy is HUGE
I'm gonna get down to Pburgh in the next year or so...Gonna try again then!

It's okay, I was creeping for the Sabres at FC...got to see them get on the bus and around the hotel and stuff. I made sure to tell them good luck and tell them they were awesome and all of that good stuff. They loved that I was from Pittsburgh XD

The Sabres ARE awesome ;) I'm the same with the guys...being a huge hockey card collector, I've got almost all of them at least once (I don't have like 5 of them...one of them being GERBLES...who I adore >>)
I have significantly more incentive to go to Pittsburgh now! I have never been, and all I hear is how cool the city is (I was considering transferring to Pitt for a bit). I've suddenly got a need for exploring and seeing more places than where I've been...I have a whole plan for going to Pitt. Sammiches at Primanti Bros...taking in some games...I'm eager!

I LOVE hockey cards. I take them so seriously. It's funny cause I have all my cards ordered by team, and then by player last name. During the trade deadline...it's hell for me XD But people get all confused because they'll go through my cards, see like...An ottawa jersey in my sharks page (heatley) and wonder why he's there. WELL...HEATLEY PLAYS FOR THE SHARKS...doesn't matter if the card is an ottawa one :P
