My favorite bird! The male cardinal. Did you know that only the males are red like this? The females look brown.

Birds have an interesting bone and brain structure that makes them vulnerable to impacts more than other animals. Oddly enough, it seems to stun them as opposed to killing, though that does happen. They have to learn about windows sometimes and that the oddly "clear" object is actually a solid...
