So this was actually born from a dream I had a few months ago and immediately when i woke up i wrote down the dream, and then later drew out the monster version of Will I dreamed of.

Also using the design as an OC cause i adore it and have wanted a monstery OC for agesssss

this is the story:

- a world where humans that have mutated into beasts are used as military/private weapons
- Jack is the head of a division in one of the organisations who captures and controls these beasts.
- Will is a member of the division and goes missing, not long after this beast is found and captured.
- Will had been mutated somehow and had the uncontrollable ability to turn into this monster that was kinda like a griffin/dragon thing but almost a reverse version, where the back legs are bird like, the front legs are lion like, his head was a mix of the two (like had lion like ears and eyes and a bird like muzzle with sharp teeth), had long tail and wings and was feather/scaly and completely black.
- he’s kinda both bipedal and quadrupedal.
- and he couldn’t control the change into the beast and gets stuck in that form a lot due to panic and strong emotion but half kept his mind so he was like, reacting strongly to instincts and also freaking out about it so making himself worse.
- The only one who had a chance of recognising him as Will was Hannibal who was a consultant for Jack and knew him better than anyone else before the mutation.
- Will tried to let him know it was him, but he just came across as aggressive and trying to attack Hannibal because of the way he was out of control and snapping and going to attack everyone.
- One of the only ways to keep Will weak enough to control was to keep him at really low temperatures, kinda like how reptiles get really sluggish in the cold.
- and they’re transporting him (not in a cage for some reason but like, half strapped into a harness with Hannibal sat in the compartment with him cause his presence seemed to help control Will and keep him more docile.
- And Will starts to warm up enough to move more and tries to reach toward Hannibal with his claws and mouth snapping to try and get his attention but it looks like he’s trying to attack him.
- and things go a bit haywire and Will breaks out and kidnaps Hannibal in an attempt to make him see who he is.

I woke up then but like, thinking on where it could go:

- ends up while Will is on the run with Hannibal as his hostage in the middle of the wilderness (maybe a cabin somewhere), that Will manages to transform back (mostly, even in human form he retains some features like patches of black scales and feathers, a tail, claws, fangs, feline like eyes, some mannerisms), and Hannibal realises it’s Will.
- Then Hannibal vows to keep Will safe and they go on the run together properly to avoid Jack’s team trying to recapture ‘their asset’.
